An audio storytelling app for parents to practice their target language during the pregnancy and postnatal stages.

This immersive audio experience is designed for families who are interested in raising bilingual children but may need a little boost to help introduce multiple languages at home.
The concept is aimed at English native speakers because children in the UK start learning a second language much later than in other European countries. The solution here was to find a simple and fun way to introduce a foreign language for the whole family!
The tool can be used to listen, read (the stories and translations) and record classic nursery rhymes and fairy tales in your target language. You will even be given the option to choose your fluency level - this will help filter through the story database.

The constant vocal practice and audio repetition will be a fantastic starting point for your baby - who will be soaking up this second language like a sponge!

Exploring some of the features:
I initially sketched a wireframe prototype, then played around with the functionalities in Proto.io and then build out the design in Adobe Illustrator - for a more visual mock-up.
This was a personal project - I created a sketch wireframe to test out the concept then worked through Proto.io to create a more realistic prototype which had functionality. Adobe Illustrator was then used to enhance the look and feel. I'm currently doing an Adobe XD course, so stay tuned for more UX/ UI mock ups.
